So now let’s put it all together with a new morning game plan.
The best place to start is with the new set of tasks that are most important to you. Figure out a preliminary time during which you want to get them accomplished.
If your desire is to go for an early morning run before breakfast, you might consider doing that as soon as you get up before a shower and eating breakfast.
If your want time for meditation decide if you want to do that immediately after waking – or perhaps after you’ve had a cup of coffee.
If your goal is for some easy morning stretches, affirmations or visualisations, maybe you could fit that in before everyone else gets up when the house is still nice and quiet
The same goes for wanting time in the morning to work on your business or learn something new.
Plan your morning chores around these new plans.
Be patient as there will be a period of adjustment as you shuffle around your current routine and adopt a new and comfortable routine that works for you. With a little creativity and some flexibility, I’m sure you can come up with a working plan.
A morning makeover and establishing a new routine is something that takes some effort and patience for most of us and does not come naturally and without determination to make it succeed.
It takes a little while to get into the grove of things.
Tomorrow we will look at this in a little more detail For now though , go ahead and write your new morning game plan down – there is greater hope of it being successful once you write it down.
It’s easy to forget what you’re planning to do.
Writing it will solidify your new plan in your mind and give you a reference to refer back to
If you put your note or notebook with your new plan beside your bed or wherever you It will serve as a reminder of your new intentions and how differently you will do things in the morning now.
Sometimes the best of plans need adjustment
It is important to remember that often the best of plans sometimes do not work when we put them into action . More than likely you will need to adjust it and make tweaks and changes until you have a plan that works well for you and your family. A planet that works for you …..and that you can work with.
Once that is in place, its time to make it the new routine!
